Ivanka Rada Illyenko

Ivanka graduated from the Russian ballet Academy in Moscow in the class of Professor Galina Kuznetsová - a student of Agripina Vaganová, the founder of classical dance methodology.  She further expanded her education at the John Cranko school in Stuttgart, where she received a diploma in dance pedagogy. 

 

Her first engagement was at the National Theater in Kyiv and during her career she danced in various ballet companies in Europe such as the Stuttgart ballet in Germany and the Czech national ballet in Prague.  Her repertoire includes most of the leading roles in classical ballet.  In addition, she also danced in the works of modern choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, William Forsyth, Jean Christphe Maillot, Petr Zuska and others. 

 

In 2013, she received a certificate at Renata Sabongui's Pilates Academy as a Pilates level I-II instructor (MAT I-III and Ron Fletcher Towel work).  Nowadays, she works as a Pilates instructor at the Czech National Ballet and teaches classical ballet at her own school "Ivanka Rada Illyenko ballet school".
